Before & After Pictures

This is a chimney that was taking on water, and what it looked like when we found it.  There are cracks in the crown (mortar area around the flue tile) and there was no cap installed.

This is that same chimney top after we completed the work.  We used a producted called CrownCoat (that gives a 7 year warrenty) to resurface the crown, and a stainless steel (limited life time warrenty) single flue cap.

This is a picture of a crown that was damaged.  That has actually had a handyman look at it and they sealed some of the cracks with chalking.  However, the customer called us when they were still having problems with water entry causing a fawl odor in the chimney.
This firebox had several cracked brick and damage mortar.  It was recommend that the system not be used prior the repairs being made do to the ablity to transfer heat, build-up, and fire behind the wall in breeched areas.

This is that same crown after we resurfaced it with the product called CrownCoat.  To date the customer has had no other water issues with the crown.

This is the after picture where those bricks have been completely removed and replaced with new bricks.

Someone tried to stop smoking problem. This DID NOT WORK (and runs the risk of falling off and damaging property or causing personal injury).First, we removed the flue tile that was just placed on the top of the other flue. Then, we resurfaced the crown (using CrownCoat), and finally installed a cap.
